Violation of Probation

Accused of violation of probation?
Call (239) 331-2999

If you are accused of violation of State or County Probation, call me at 239-331-2999. A VOP warrant will often not have a bond, meaning the warrant itself will show "No Bond" on the face of the document. If you are arrested on a No Bond VOP warrant, the judge at first appearance will not likely change the bond, meaning you will be in jail until the VOP can be resolved. In some case of violation of County Probation, once hired, I may be able to negotiate a resolution with probation and the State so that we can resolve the VOP without turning yourself in to the jail.

Violations of State Probation depend of reason for the violation, how many points your score sheet has, and the legal defenses to the violation. At any VOP hearing, whether you're on State or County probation, the State must prove your violation was willful and substantial by a preponderance of the evidence.
